In the heart of the jungle, where earth and water meet...
This special collaboration from photographic artists Nadia Attura and Lexi Laine, is a synthesis of their shared appreciation of Mother Nature, the elements and feminine energy. Nadia’s evocative botanical collage and Lexi’s ethereal underwater photography come together to depict a magical scene in the pristine jungles of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico.
Nadia's works balance between the real and the surreal, transporting us to distant, hazy lands. Vintage, pastel tones and an illustrative approach imbue her works with a dreamlike feel that is further enhanced by her meticulous collaging.
Lexi is a freediving underwater photographer, undertaking her work in some of the most unique open water environments around the globe. More often than not her photographs depict a single female or multiple women, featuring highly skilled freedivers as the subjects.
Location: Yucatan, Mexico
