Original painting inspired by the work of Jane Dinmore, this piece draws on certain shapes and marks within several of her pieces. Exploring her language of paint and colour, the way she uses space and form, giving her shapes much more individual appreciation, I have busied the work, filling the spaces and squashing the marks. 

We both explore the endless possibilities of abstraction in a bold way. I admire her use of mark making, her vibrant colour palette and satisfying compositions. As Jane also says, I feel we have only brushed the surface of where this could go, with a shared passion for spontaneity in our creations, a main focus of excitement in our work.
