• Simone Ember

Simone Ember (formerly Webb) is a contemporary artist from the UK. Her work focuses on flowers, through which she hopes to inspire others to reconnect with nature along with the benefits this can bring to our health and wellbeing.

Verging on the sides of abstract and graphic, she combines her studies in both fine art and graphic design and illustration, intertwining the two to create paintings fragmented from her digital artworks along with limited edition prints. Drawing inspiration from travel and walks in the English countryside, she hopes to evoke the sense of freedom and simplicity being out in nature brings with the use of nature’s colour palette.

Her work has been exhibited widely in London, including a solo exhibition at Curious Duke Gallery (2017), along with group shows nationally and internationally, including Hong Kong, San Francisco and Seattle. In 2017, she was awarded a grant from The Eaton Fund and was also shortlisted for Art Factor 2013. Her work has been featured in Wired, British Vogue, Livingetc, Creative Review, and Homes & Gardens and is held in private collections across the world, including the UK, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Florida, Vancouver and Barcelona.
