• Genski

Genine aka Genski is a self taught artist from South London, who mainly works in collage and acrylic paints. She is heavily into figurative works without limitations when it comes to style and/or subject - from fashion illustration to comic art, erotic art, and abstract also. Creating and drawing has been her life long passion since childhood, when she would draw on envelopes, betting slips, and sneakily she would paint on skirting boards at home. Eventually, she became obsessed with paper dolls, and made folders of coloured drawings depicting many different real life and fantasy scenarios.

Genski's influences are very diverse, including film, interiors and fashion magazines, social situations, and emotions felt in those precise moments. Her biggest artistic inspirations are Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Alice Need, Layla Faye, and Cheyenne Julien.
